Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how information is used when you visit Flooring Specialists or send a flooring inquiry. The six topics below describe records, services, choices, and privacy requests.

Effective October 2, 2026.

1. Information you provide

An inquiry may include your name, email address, telephone number, role in the matter, property location, and the description of the flooring concern. Please include only information needed to review the request. Do not send payment-card details, identity documents, or confidential legal records through the general inquiry form.

Each submitted inquiry is saved as a separate business record with a request identifier and submission time. The landing page and referring website may also be recorded with the inquiry. When you allow optional measurement, available campaign details and advertising-click identifiers may be included with that record.

2. How the information is used

Flooring Specialists uses inquiry information to respond, review the requested work, discuss scope and fees, and maintain business records. Sending an inquiry does not confirm an appointment or expert engagement and does not subscribe you to marketing or automated text messages.

When optional measurement is allowed, website and advertising measurement helps us understand visits and which advertising leads to inquiries.

3. Services involved in processing

The website uses WordPress and its hosting services. Inquiry records are stored in a private archive available to authorized website administrators. The inquiry is also forwarded through Flooring Specialists’ ActiveCampaign form and contact system so it can be reviewed and followed up.

Google Analytics and Google Ads website measurement load only after you allow optional measurement through Privacy choices in the footer. The conversion event excludes your name, email address, telephone number, property details and concern text. It uses a request identifier and a page address stripped of submitted details. When you opt in, Google may also process technical information according to its own policies.

These providers process information as part of operating the website, handling inquiries, and providing the selected measurement functions.

Privacy policy: inquiry records and optional measurement choices
Submitting an inquiry does not depend on allowing optional website measurement.

4. Privacy policy and your measurement choices

Optional website analytics and advertising measurement are off until you choose to allow them. There is no automatic tracking popup. Use Privacy choices in the footer to review or change your preference. Advertising personalization remains off, and Global Privacy Control keeps optional measurement off.

Your choice is remembered in this browser’s local storage for 90 days. Clearing that storage, using another browser or expiry returns measurement to off. When allowed, campaign details and duplicate-event markers are kept for the browsing session; form answers are not stored there. Turning measurement off stops optional event measurement. If you have entered request details, the form is preserved and the already-loaded tools finish closing when you leave the page; otherwise the page reloads. A previously loaded Google tool may send a limited consent-withdrawal signal.

You can send an inspection or consulting request and contact us by phone without allowing optional website measurement. A submitted inquiry still records its landing page and referring website, without advertising campaign or click identifiers when measurement is off. Changing this browser preference does not erase a previously submitted business record.

5. Records and privacy requests

Inquiry information is kept as part of the business record. This policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. Contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction, or request access or deletion. We will review the request and explain what can be done.

Email dcraig@flooringspecialists.biz or call (916) 313-9224. Please provide enough information to identify the inquiry without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

6. Other websites and policy changes

Links to Google reviews, training records, and other outside websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Review their policies when using them. The Google privacy policy explains Google’s practices; our policy above describes how this website is configured.

This policy may be updated when the website’s data handling changes. The effective date above identifies this version.

To ask a question about this privacy policy, use the email or telephone number above, or visit our contact page. Tell us which inquiry or website preference your question concerns. We may need additional information to identify the record before responding, but please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive material.

Changing an optional measurement choice affects this browser’s preference. It does not itself erase a previously submitted business inquiry. If you want a record reviewed, corrected, or considered for deletion, send a separate privacy request so we can identify the information and explain what can be done.
