By submitting, you ask us to contact you about this request. Privacy policy.

Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment or expert engagement. We use your information to respond to your inquiry. Read our privacy policy for details.

1. Contact Flooring Specialists with the basic concern

Include your name, email address, telephone number, and your role in the matter. Tell us the city and state where the property is located and describe what you are seeing. For example, mention an open plank joint, a cracked rigid-core edge, a hardwood finish concern, or a height difference between tiles. You do not need to diagnose the cause before contacting us.

Identify the affected rooms or areas and whether the condition appears isolated or repeated. Approximate installation and discovery dates are useful when you know them. If a date or material is uncertain, say so. We can review the available facts without turning an estimate into an established part of the history.

2. Keep photographs and records together

Take a wider view that identifies the room or area, followed by a closer view of the concern. Keep the original photographs with their dates when available. A short note connecting each photograph to a location helps make the sequence understandable. Avoid filtering or retouching photographs intended to document a flooring condition.

A close detail is more useful when accompanied by a wider room view.

Keep invoices, product labels, installation instructions, prior reports, and repair records available for later review. The inquiry form does not require a complete file to begin. We will discuss which records are needed and how to provide them. The inspection photograph examples show why location and detail belong together.

3. Tell us about access and deadlines

Mention any planned repair, flooring removal, property sale, warranty response date, or legal deadline. Include the actual date when known. Identify who can authorize access and whether parts of the floor are covered, occupied, or unavailable. This information helps define the scope and determine whether the requested timing is practical.

Inspections are arranged in Northern California, Reno, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas. Availability and travel are confirmed for each property. Sending a request does not reserve a visit or establish a response deadline. If urgent property protection is needed, contact the appropriate local professional and document changes when it is safe to do so.

4. Review the proposed work and fees

An independent floor inspection may include site observations, representative measurements, photographs, records review, and a written report. The exact work depends on the question, the material, and accessible conditions. Consulting may begin with a review of existing information before a site visit is considered.

Scope, fees, travel, access, and scheduling are discussed before the assignment is accepted. Additional testing, removed material examination, or other work beyond the agreed scope requires further discussion. For general product background, the Tile Council of North America resource center is one useful industry source; the actual product and relevant instructions still need to be identified.

5. Confirm the next step

We use your inquiry to review the requested work and respond about the next step. An appointment or expert engagement is confirmed separately after the required arrangements are agreed. Please correct any inaccurate property or contact details when you receive a response so the assignment starts with the right information.

For California expert witness inquiries, include the involved parties, property city, general issue, and deadlines. Wait for conflict review and instructions before sending confidential legal records. Do not send payment-card details, identity documents, or unnecessary private information through the general form.
